In recent years the popularity of hats has surged. This is partly thanks to the many famous faces seen or photographed wearing a great variety of styles. Below we have some pictures of the celebrities we get asked by customers what cap is he/she wearing! We have also added in a couple of famous faces that have made the news recently for their quirky style of headwear.
David Beckham is rarely seen without a cap on his head. He particularly seems to favour the newsboy cap, both the classic eight panel cap and the oversized version. He also famed the trucker baseball cap, it differs slightly to a regular baseball cap due to front panels being stiffened and higher.
Famed for his recent Vivienne Westwood designed hat pictured below, Pharell Williams later donated to original to a charity auction and it raised a whopping $44,100. He has carried the trend on by wearing the same style in a vast array of colours, will it catch on though? We will have to see what happens. He does however have more in his locker, mostly fedora’s and trilby hats.
Brad Pitt is a another great ambassador for headwear, he is regularly spotted in a flat cap or a beanie hat. He certainly seems to favour caps and the cut of a classic flat cap, it suits his face shape. He has however been snapped in trilby’s and the popular trucker cap styles which have shot to fame in 2014.
Olly Murs is rarely seen without a trilby on, he also wears the trilby angled and towards the back of his head. After his X factor fame he has become an iconic figure in the hat world, his upturned narrow brim trilbys turned out to be very sought after.
There is nothing plain about Lady Gaga and her choice of headwear is just as outrageous. She has worn hats designed by some of the worlds top milliners such as Phillip Treacy and Piers Atkinson. Below we have just a small selection of her extravagant choices.
